Want

"Sure
Fire Back Tension Release Training Kit"
with
Comfort or Comfort X-cel handles
Zenith
Archery Products has introduced a new product,
designed to teach archers how to get started in
shooting a back tension release. The Sure Fire
Back Tension Release Kit was developed by us in
response to the comment by archers repeatedly
heard at shoots and trade shows; "I can't
use a back tension release. I tried one once and
I punched myself in the mouth."
"I
never shot a back tension release until I picked
up a Zenith kit. I've been shooting for about
six months now, and I've had nothing but good
luck. I learned to use it in my living room without
shooting an arrow. Once I was ready to hit the
range, I was completely confident. Others I've
talked to have told me that they can't believe
I haven't punched myself yet."-BW, Virginia
"Just
wanted to email to you to say how much I liked
your No-Punch Kit (ordered it two months ago)...and
have been shooting with a GREAT IMPROVEMENT!!!
No more target panic. I had almost given up on
archery because I had a bad case of target panic
with a caliper release, it grew over the years...I
had read about back tension releases and was afraid
that I would not be able to shoot one. Your approach
with the video...is the best approach, I will
be telling my hunting buddies who have target
panic but will not admit it, that your system
is the BEST! Thanks again for keeping me in archery!!!"-Leroy

Just
wanted to drop a line and say that I'm pleased
with your release training kit. First of all,
the kit arrived at my door just a day and a half
after I spoke with you which allowed me to get
started right away. Thanks! I watched the video
a couple of times before unpacking all the parts
and had no trouble assembling and adjusting the
cam with the instructions on the CD. It's necessary
to really listen closely to all the information
presented but I always consider that a given when
doing something new anyway. If one does pay attention
it's hard to imagine how any serious troubles
can arise. I had the practice cam in for a couple
of days and found that it was a great learning
tool that can give the shooter some confidence
that he's not going to send arrows all over the
range. By paying attention to which fingers are
applying pressure on the release both with the
practice cam and then for real, I haven't had
an errant arrow yet nor a rap in the mouth. It'll
take me some time to get the back tension down
but I have to say that my groups haven't suffered
too badly. They're not quite as good as with my
trigger release yet (which isn't saying much considering
my skill level at this point) but I'm finding
it easier to move the group around using the windage
and elevation adjustments on my sight. In all,
I think you have a great product and anyone who
really wants to use a back tension release ought
to be able to learn with you as their coach via
the CD.
Best regards,

a Hoyt Powerhawk with a Cartel Max sight, QuikTune
3000 rest and a Cartel 28" carbon stabilizer.
We
think this kit will help overcome this problem
for the beginner as well as the advanced archer.
We're so certain of it that we're backing it up
with a money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied
with the results obtained by using the kit, Zenith
will refund your full purchase price, minus shipping,
no questions asked.
The
standard kit includes a 3 finger X-Cel handle
in your choice of colors or an X-Cel+ handle (with
the thumb peg) in black or sllver. To upgrade
to a color in the X-Cel+ handle add $10. Any of
our aluminum Comfort handles are available for
$20 over the base price. The Flip-it head upgrade
is $10.
The handle is equipped with a wrist strap to
eliminate the possibility of letting the release
go during a shot. The CNC machined head includes
two different cams. The full moon practice cam,
which will not allow the bowstring to be released,
has two practice modes. The first uses a .008"
clicker notch, first introduced by Zenith several
years ago. The clicker is used as a reference
and allows the archer to use more than one finger
when drawing the bow. Without the clicker, the
initial rotation of the handle becomes critical,
leading to pre-fires and sore index fingers. For
those who don't want to use the clicker, the other
practice notch has a smooth shooting edge. The
full moon allows the archer to to use his bow
to completely simulate a shot. Rather than the
arrow being fired, the shot ends with a "click"
from the release and the bow can then be let down
safely. After developing a safe shot routine with
the practice cam the archer can switch to the
shooting cam provided with the kit. The shooting
cam is now a reversable Hcam which has the .006
clicker on one side and is smooth on the other
side. The .006 cam takes the place of the .008
cam, formerly shipped with the kit, to better
work with a d-loop set-up.
The
feature of the kit which Zenith believes will
allow all archers to learn to use a back tension
release is the VHS video tape or CDROM which is
included. The archer is taught how to assemble
the release (which comes unassembled), the proper
way to hold and cock it, how to hook it up to
the bowstring and finally how to shoot it the
proper way. The eleven minute video visually takes
you through the learning process from A to Z and
is the main reason Zenith is able to offer our
no-risk money back guarantee. Th tape can be replaced
in the kit by a CD-ROM which will run on your
computer using Apple Quicktime 5 which is included
on the disk. The latest version of Quicktime can
also be downloaded free from the Internet. This
works great for those in countries where VHS tape
is not the standard. It's handy too, to be able
to run the video from your hard drive. It makes
it really easy to jump from one section to another
and to stop the action.
